VERTICAL FARM DUBLIN. Auf Grund der Neuartigkeit
der Typologie liegen keinerlei Erfahrungs- und Richtwerte für ein urbanes vertikales Gewächshaus vor. Die
öffentliche Akzeptanz gegenüber einer hoch technisierten Lebensmittelproduktion im urbanen Gefüge ist noch sehr wenig ausgebildet.
Aus diesen Gründen sehe ich meinen Entwurf als Vorstufe einer neuen Typologie, deren primäres Interesse zunächst nicht der Maximierung
des Ertrags, sondern der Erforschung der mit dieser Typologie verbundenen Möglichkeiten, der Verbesserung der Abläufe und der Information
der Bevölkerung gilt.

VERTICAL FARM DUBLIN. There are hardly any empirically established figures or guidelines on this new typology.
It is not a given fact that the public will accept high tech urban food production. I thus consider my building
as a first step to introduce vertical farming in our society. Its main aim is not to maximize the amount of food
produced but rather to research the opportunities of this typology and to communicate them to the public.
